MindfulMe - Mental Health Resource Fair

While this has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with coffee, mental health is a passion of many of the Birch & Banyan Coffee team. In 2024 we wanted to use our position in the Lake Country community to help bring mental health conversations further out of the shadows. The hope is to help take away the stigma of mental health conversations. Many of us could use a little help in the day, whether it's an intensive treatment program, or just taking more time for self care, or anything in between.

 

Now going into our third year, MindfulMe has become a community-centered mental health resource initiative designed to make support easier to find and less intimidating to access. By bringing together local organizations, practitioners, and wellness advocates, MindfulMe helps individuals discover tools, services, and connections that support mental well-being at every stage of life.

Our organization list includes therapy, psychiatry, experts in nutrition, women's health, youth and adolescent behavior, meditation, yoga, sleep hygiene, art therapy, music therapy, nature therapy, and more. We also have live music, food trucks, therapy dogs, live yoga sessions, and more.
